Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico is the Boy Scouts of America's premier high adventure base. Troop 31 has sent crews to Philmont multiple times over our history.

The Philmont Experience

At Philmont, crews spend 12 days backpacking through the mountains of northern New Mexico. Along the way, you'll:

• Hike over 50 miles through wilderness
• Climb mountains over 12,000 feet
• Visit historical mining camps and other program areas
• Learn survival and wilderness skills
• Experience the challenge of a lifetime

Philmont requires significant preparation, including physical conditioning and wilderness skill development. It's an experience Scouts never forget!
