Service to Others
Service to others is a cornerstone of Scouting. For Star and Life Ranks, a Scout must perform six hours of service to others.
Service Opportunities
Troop 31 Scouts participate in various service activities throughout the year, including:
- Dining Room Ministry
- Community clean-up projects
- Food drives
- Environmental conservation work
- Helping at church events
- Assisting with community organizations
Eagle Service Projects
For the Eagle Scout rank, Scouts must plan and lead a significant service project that benefits their community. These projects demonstrate leadership and provide lasting value to the community.
